OPPO India has unveiled the Reno16 Series, comprising the Reno16 and Reno16c, featuring India's first HoloVerse 3D Design, an AI Portrait camera with a 50MP 3.5x telephoto lens, Natural Tone Imaging, and all-focal-length 4K 60fps HDR video recording. Designed for young users who view smartphones as more than communication devices, the series combines a camera, creative studio, productivity companion, and personal assistant. AI-powered tools such as AI Remix Collage, Pop Cam, and Popout 2.0, along with ColorOS 16, empower users to create and express themselves effortlessly.
Launch and Pricing
The Reno16 5G is priced at INR 61,999 for the 8GB + 256GB variant and INR 67,999 for the 12GB + 256GB variant. The Reno16c 5G starts at INR 46,999 for the 8GB + 128GB variant, with INR 49,999 for 8GB + 256GB and INR 55,999 for 12GB + 256GB. The series goes on sale from July 9, 2026, on Amazon, Flipkart, mainline retail outlets, and the OPPO e-store. Offers include up to 10% cashback on credit cards and UPI, zero down payment schemes for up to 18 months, a INR 5,000 exchange bonus, and 180 days screen damage protection. Design and Display
The Reno16 Series introduces India's first HoloVerse 3D Design, inspired by the cosmos. The Starry White variant features a 3D Pop Planet Design with a naked-eye 3D effect, created by a dual-layer optical structure and millions of microlenses. OPPO's Floating 3D Glitter finish and Dynamic Stellar Ring add shimmer around the camera module. The devices are available in Starry White, Twilight Violet, and Stellar Purple. The Reno16 has a 6.32-inch AMOLED display with ultra-thin bezels, while the Reno16c offers a 6.57-inch display. Both feature FHD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and eye-care technologies. The Reno16 is 8.22mm thick and weighs 182g, while the Reno16c is 8.44mm thick and 195g. Both devices have an Aerospace-Grade Aluminium Frame and IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K dust and water resistance.
Camera System
The Reno16 features a 50MP Ultra-Clear Main Camera, a 50MP Ultra-Wide Selfie Camera with a 100° field of view, and a 50MP Ultra-Wide Camera, with a Dual Flash System. The Reno16c includes a 50MP Main Camera, a 50MP Ultra-Wide Selfie Camera, and an Ultra-Wide Camera, also with a Dual Flash System. Both devices have a 50MP 3.5x Telephoto Portrait Camera, offering an 85mm equivalent focal length. The Reno16 shoots 4K 60fps HDR video across all three focal lengths, with 4K Auto Straighten and Zoom Free Video. OPPO's Natural Tone Imaging balances skin tones and lighting to preserve individuality.
AI and Creative Tools
AI Remix Collage transforms photos, Live Photos, and videos into dynamic visual stories with customizable layouts, text, stickers, and effects. Pop Cam offers nine AI-curated styles, while Popout 2.0 extends subjects beyond the frame. Dual-View Video 2.0 records simultaneously from front and rear cameras. Additional AI tools include AI Recompose, AI Perfect Shot, AI Best Face, AI Unblur, AI Eraser, AI Flash Photography 3.0, and AI Studio. The AI Snap Key provides instant access to Mind Space, voice notes, camera, translator, and recorder.
ColorOS 16 and AI Features
ColorOS 16 includes AI Mind Pilot, an industry-first fusion of LLMs (Gemini, Perplexity, ChatGPT) within a single screen. AI Mind Space organizes captured content as a “second brain.” AI Bill Manager tracks expenses from receipts and messages, recognizing multiple currencies. AI Menu Translation translates restaurant menus, identifies ingredients, and converts prices. AI Voice Translation and AI Live Translation facilitate cross-language communication. AI Recording Sticker adds markers during recordings and generates summaries. AI Scan and AI Extract digitize documents.
Performance and Battery
The Reno16 is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 Mobile Platform (4nm), with CPU performance up to 27% faster and GPU graphics up to 30% faster. The Reno16c uses the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset (4nm) with four 2.5GHz Cortex-A78 cores and Mali-G615 MC2 GPU, up to 24GB RAM (12GB physical + 12GB virtual), and UFS 3.1 storage. AI LinkBoost 4.0 enhances connectivity, and AI HyperBoost 2.0 ensures smooth gaming at up to 120 fps. The Reno16 has a 6700mAh battery with 80W SUPERVOOC charging, while the Reno16c has a 7000mAh battery with 80W SUPERVOOC.
OPPO Bubble and Enco Air5
OPPO Bubble is a smart camera companion weighing 27.5g with a 1.73-inch AMOLED display, 550mAh battery, IP54 resistance, and magnetic attachment. It functions as a wireless remote and customizable accessory, priced at INR 7,999 from July 9. The OPPO Enco Air5 offers up to 52dB ANC across 5,000Hz, triple-microphone AI call noise reduction, IP55 resistance, up to 54 hours battery life, 12mm Dynamic Bass Driver, and Bluetooth 6.1. Priced at INR 3,299, it goes on sale from July 2.
