Ryan Group of Institutions launched its Golden Jubilee celebrations with the grand staging of The Mumbai Revue, an original musical production, at the Studio Theatre of the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC) in Mumbai on July 7, 2026. The event marked 50 years of educational excellence for the institution.
Students Shine in Professional-Grade Production
The production brought together 28 exceptionally talented students from Ryan campuses across Mumbai, who underwent an intensive four-day Performance Lab prior to the show. Under the guidance of internationally trained multidisciplinary artist and director Tiara Oberoi, the students received professional training in acting, vocal performance, movement, stagecraft, audition techniques, and ensemble rehearsals. The lab culminated in the live staging of The Mumbai Revue, which served as Oberoi's directorial debut.
The evening opened with a spirited rendition of "Any Dream Will Do" and featured eight songs seamlessly woven into the production. Live musical accompaniment was provided by pianist Anaya Grace. The young performers delivered a polished and emotionally engaging showcase with dynamic choreography, powerful vocals, and compelling storytelling, earning enthusiastic applause and standing ovations from the packed auditorium.
Leadership and Artistic Vision
The event was graced by Dr. Grace Pinto, Managing Director of Ryan Group of Institutions; Dr. Snehal Pinto, Director; Ms. Sonal Pinto, Director; and Ms. Liz Samuel. A highlight of the evening was Tiara Oberoi's moving solo rendition of "She Used to Be Mine" from the Broadway musical Waitress, accompanied live by Anaya Grace. The performance captivated the audience and reflected the artistic excellence that defined the production.
