Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday invited Dutch companies to design, innovate, and manufacture in India, asserting that there is no better time than this to invest in the country. Addressing the India-Netherlands Business Meeting via video conferencing, Modi highlighted India's economic growth and the government's commitment to ease of doing business.
Modi's Invitation to Dutch Firms
Modi said, "There is no better time than this to design, innovate, and manufacture in India. I invite Dutch companies to take advantage of India's growth story." He emphasized that India is focusing on becoming a hub for manufacturing and innovation, with special emphasis on sectors like renewable energy, water management, agriculture, and high-tech manufacturing.

The Prime Minister noted that India is on a path of rapid economic expansion and is implementing structural reforms to attract foreign investment. He pointed out that the country has a large market, a young workforce, and a stable political environment, making it an ideal destination for businesses.
Strengthening Bilateral Ties
Modi also stressed the importance of strengthening economic ties between India and the Netherlands. He mentioned that the Netherlands is one of India's largest trading partners in Europe and that bilateral trade has been growing steadily. The meeting was attended by several top executives from Dutch companies, as well as Indian business leaders.
