Massive Fire Breaks Out at Rubber Plant in Bhiwadi, No Casualties Reported
Fire at Bhiwadi Rubber Plant, No Casualties

A significant fire broke out around 5 pm on Tuesday at the Crown Rubber Plant located in the industrial area of Bhiwadi. Preliminary investigations indicate that a short circuit may have sparked the blaze, which spread rapidly due to the highly inflammable nature of rubber stored inside the facility.

The fire engulfed more than half of the plant, reducing finished rubber goods to ashes. Officials have raised concerns about heavy financial losses, as the entire stock was destroyed. The swift spread of the fire was attributed to the combustible materials present.

Five fire tenders from the RIICO fire station were immediately dispatched to the scene. Firefighting operations are underway, with Nagar Parishad fire in-charge Naresh Meena and RIICO fire in-charge Raju Khan present to oversee the situation. Meena stated, "Fire engines were dispatched immediately. The blaze spread quickly due to rubber and may take time to douse completely." He added that additional fire tenders have been called in to assist.

Bhiwadi Police arrived at the location and managed to control the crowd that had gathered. A chemical factory adjacent to the rubber plant is being closely monitored, as there are concerns that the fire could spread to it. No casualties have been reported so far.

As a precautionary measure, the PNG gas supply to the plant was shut down. Haryana City Gas deputy manager Rohit was also present at the site to ensure safety protocols were followed.
