In a landmark event for design education and entrepreneurship, JD Institute of Fashion Technology, in collaboration with The Charter (Bombay Founders' Club), successfully hosted India's first-ever Founder-Designer Auction Platform. The initiative, held at Prabodhan Thackeray Auditorium in Mumbai, created a new benchmark for industry-academia engagement by connecting emerging design talent with D2C founders.

The auction-style format allowed founders to evaluate, interact with, and select student design concepts aligned with their brand vision. By the end of the event, 22 student groups were selected and backed by founders for future collaborations and capsule collection development. The platform marked a departure from traditional student showcases, emphasizing direct business engagement.
