INTEC 2025: South India's Largest Industrial Trade Fair Begins

The 21st edition of INTEC, one of south India's largest industrial trade fairs, commenced at the Codissia Trade Fair Complex in Coimbatore on Thursday. The event brings together more than 460 exhibitors and over 700 stalls, showcasing more than 1,000 industrial machines and technologies from across India and abroad.

Event Details and Participation

Organised by Codissia, the five-day exhibition will be held from June 4 to June 8 and is expected to attract thousands of industrialists, entrepreneurs, engineers, manufacturers and students from across the country. The exhibition features cutting-edge products and technologies from countries including Japan, Germany, the United States, Taiwan, China and South Korea. Exhibitors from 13 states are participating at the event, spread across seven exhibition halls at the CODISSIA complex.

Advanced Manufacturing Solutions on Display

A wide range of advanced manufacturing solutions are on display, including industrial robotics, automation systems, laser-cutting machines, machine tool accessories, precision engineering equipment, welding technologies and automotive manufacturing solutions. Leading global brands such as Panasonic Life Solutions, Yamazen Machinery, Pidilite, Helukabel and Wila CNC India are showcasing their latest innovations aimed at enhancing productivity, efficiency and safety in manufacturing operations. Officials from central and state government departments, public sector undertakings, MSMEs and large-scale industries attended the inaugural day.

Industry experts said the exhibition provides a valuable platform for businesses to explore emerging technologies, identify new market opportunities and establish business partnerships. Vijayaganeshan of AMSAK Grains, a first-time exhibitor, said the company was showcasing machinery designed to reduce manpower requirements in grain processing operations. "Visitors have shown keen interest in understanding the technology and its practical applications," he said.
