Kia India Unveils Refreshed 2026 Syros SUV with Expanded Lineup

Kia India has officially launched the 2026 model year update for the Kia Syros in the Indian market. This refreshed SUV brings a host of enhancements, including design tweaks, an expanded variant lineup, and increased availability of automatic transmission options, making it a more versatile choice for consumers.

Key Updates and New Features

The 2026 Kia Syros introduces four new trims: HTE, HTE(O), HTK+(O), and HTX(O). One of the most significant improvements is the broader accessibility of automatic variants, particularly for diesel models. The diesel automatic version is now available starting from the HTK+ trim, priced at Rs 12,73,900 ex-showroom.

In terms of design, the SUV features a revised front bumper with body-coloured aero inserts and glossy black skid plates, complemented by LED fog lamps. The rear bumper has been updated with similar styling elements and includes an LED high-mounted stop lamp. Side enhancements include glossy black roof rails, ORVMs, and body-coloured side garnish. Higher trims like HTX and HTX(O) are equipped with new 17-inch crystal-cut alloy wheels and neon-coloured brake calipers.

The SUV is packed with over 80 connected car features, over-the-air (OTA) updates, and Kia Connect diagnostics, ensuring a modern and tech-savvy driving experience.

Engine Specifications and Pricing

Mechanically, the 2026 Syros remains unchanged. It continues to offer a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine that produces 118 bhp and 172 Nm of torque, paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed DCT. The 1.5-litre diesel engine, delivering 114 bhp and 250 Nm, is available with a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic gearbox.
