MPIDC Sets June 2027 Deadline for PM MITRA Park Infrastructure

Indore: The Madhya Pradesh Industrial Development Corporation (MPIDC), master developer of the PM Mega Integrated Textile Region and Apparel (PM MITRA) Park in Dhar, has accelerated infrastructure development at the integrated textile park. The corporation has set June 2027 as the target to complete all internal and external infrastructure work, as the state pushes to make the project operational for investors.

PM MITRA Scheme: A Flagship Initiative

PM MITRA is the Centre’s flagship initiative aimed at developing large-scale integrated textile parks with world-class infrastructure and plug-and-play facilities. The scheme is designed to strengthen India’s textile manufacturing ecosystem and improve global competitiveness.

Infrastructure Development Progress

MPIDC Indore executive director Himanshu Prajapati stated that infrastructure development is being carried out simultaneously across multiple components to meet timelines. “Development works related to road, water and power infrastructure up to the park boundary are largely complete. Internal infrastructure works including land levelling, road construction and utility services are progressing in parallel with a focus on completing all major works by June 2027,” he said.

Financial Investment

Officials revealed that the state government has already spent around Rs 88 crore on external infrastructure development up to the park boundary, including road, water and power connectivity works. An additional Rs 76 crore has been spent on internal infrastructure and mobilisation activities, including land levelling of industrial plots, roads and utility development.
