The state government of Rajasthan has officially launched the Rajasthan Industrial Park Promotion Policy, 2026, a strategic initiative designed to significantly accelerate the development of industrial infrastructure across the region. This policy aims to deepen private sector participation in key areas such as logistics, sustainability, and enhancing the ease of doing business, positioning Rajasthan as a competitive hub for industrial growth.

The policy targets the creation of world-class industrial parks equipped with robust infrastructure, integrated supply chains, and plug-and-play facilities to attract diverse industries. It allows for development through multiple flexible models, including fully private ventures, public-private partnerships (PPP), and hybrid land arrangements involving the Rajasthan State Industrial Development and Investment Corporation (RIICO).
To qualify as an industrial park under this policy, a minimum area of 50 acres and at least 10 industrial units are mandated. Capital subsidies of up to Rs 40 crore are available, depending on the project size, to offset initial setup costs. Additional benefits include exemptions on electricity duty for renewable energy use, partial relief on stamp duty and land conversion charges, and incentives linked to employment generation and investment scale. Developers can also benefit from subsidies on plug-and-play office spaces and common utility centres, which enhance project viability and reduce operational hurdles.
