Royal Enfield Showcases Electric Flying Flea at Motoverse 2025

Royal Enfield has set the Indian motorcycling scene ablaze with a spectacular showcase at Motoverse 2025 in Goa. Following their impressive display at EICMA 2025, the iconic manufacturer brought its entire lineup of exciting new motorcycles and production-nearing concepts to Indian soil, marking a significant moment in the brand's evolution.

Electric Revolution: Flying Flea S6 Scrambler

The star of the show was undoubtedly the Royal Enfield Flying Flea S6, which represents the company's first-ever electric motorcycle. This lightweight electric scrambler, which made its global debut at EICMA earlier this year, is scheduled for launch by the end of 2026.

The Flying Flea S6 features distinctive design elements including a USD front fork and runs on 19-inch front and 18-inch rear wheels. Riders will appreciate the long, enduro-style seat designed for comfort. The technological package is equally impressive, powered by an in-house developed operating system with a user interface built around the Qualcomm Snapdragon QWM2290 processor.

Connectivity features include 4G, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi, enabling riders to manage real-time vehicle data and access connected services directly through the instrument cluster. While final specifications remain under wraps, industry experts anticipate the EV will feature chain drive and offer a range between 100-150 kilometers per charge.

New Launches That Stole the Spotlight

Royal Enfield didn't just showcase concepts - they launched several production models that immediately captured attention. The Himalayan 450 Mana Black Edition debuted at an ex-showroom price of ₹3.37 lakh, drawing inspiration from the challenging Mana Pass, one of the world's highest and toughest routes.

This distinctive model features a deep Stealth Black paint scheme that extends to the engine, USD fork, and tubeless wire-spoke rims. Additional black elements include rally hand guards and a high-mount rally mudguard. Power comes from the same 452 cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine found in the standard Himalayan, producing 40 bhp and 40 Nm of torque, paired with a six-speed gearbox.

Another significant launch was the Meteor 350 Sundowner Orange Edition, priced at ₹2.19 lakh (ex-showroom). This special edition cruiser comes with a factory-fit touring kit and commemorative badge, transforming it into a complete long-distance touring machine. Key features include a deluxe touring seat with enhanced support, pillion backrest, LED headlamp, flyscreen, Type-C USB charger, and Tripper navigation pod.

Future Classics and Racing Prototypes

The showcase also featured exciting prototypes and future production models. The Bullet 650 made its Indian debut, set to join Royal Enfield's 650 twin family when it goes on sale in January 2026. This motorcycle maintains the signature long and low stance of the Bullet lineage with a wide single-piece bench seat, promising relaxed riding ergonomics.

Powering the Bullet 650 is the familiar 647.95 cc twin-cylinder engine that produces 46.4 bhp at 7,250 rpm and 52.3 Nm of peak torque at 5,650 rpm. The motorcycle features a 43 mm telescopic front fork, twin rear shocks, and rides on 19-inch front and 18-inch rear wheels with 320 mm front and 300 mm rear disc brakes equipped with dual-channel ABS.

For performance enthusiasts, Royal Enfield unveiled the Continental GT 750 Race prototype, marking its first appearance in India after the global unveiling at EICMA 2025. This pure race prototype showcases major structural updates compared to the Continental GT 650, including a newly engineered chassis, revised steering assembly, and different suspension setup.

The bike features Showa components specifically tuned for racing, including telescopic forks and twin rear shocks. Braking hardware sees significant upgrades with twin discs at the front and a single disc at the rear. Power comes from an all-new 750 cc parallel-twin engine expected to produce around 54-55 bhp and approximately 65 Nm of torque.

Royal Enfield has already started accepting bookings for the newly launched models, with deliveries of the Himalayan 450 Mana Black set to commence soon. The Motoverse 2025 event solidifies Royal Enfield's commitment to innovation while honoring its rich heritage, offering something for every type of motorcycle enthusiast in India.
