Tata Curvv Upgraded: New Luxury Features, Prices Start at Rs 14.55 Lakh
Tata Curvv Gets Premium Upgrade With New Features

Tata Motors has significantly upgraded its Curvv and Curvv EV models, injecting more comfort and luxury into the popular mid-size SUV-coupe lineup. Both gasoline and electric versions now boast enhanced cabin space and more upmarket interiors, positioning them as stronger competitors in India's fiercely contested SUV market.

Premium Features Redefine Segment Standards

The updated Curvv models introduce several segment-first features that elevate the luxury quotient. The most notable addition is ventilated rear seats, a feature previously unavailable in this category of vehicles in India. This innovation addresses the crucial need for rear passenger comfort during India's hot summer months.

Other significant comfort enhancements include manual rear sunshades and redesigned rear armrests with integrated cupholders. The cabin aesthetics have undergone a transformation with a new white carbon-fibre finish on the dashboard, complemented by a lighter grey interior theme and soft-touch leatherette upholstery.

Dual-zone climate control has been added across the lineup, allowing front passengers to set individual temperature preferences. The electric variant receives additional exclusive touches with a rear passenger footrest and more supportive headrests, further enhancing long-distance comfort.

Pricing and Variant Strategy

Tata Motors has announced aggressive pricing for the upgraded models. The updated Curvv starts at Rs 14.55 lakh, while the Curvv EV begins at Rs 18.49 lakh (ex-showroom). The enhanced features will be available across multiple variants under Tata's "Accomplished" and "Empowered" personas, giving customers flexibility in choosing their preferred feature set.

The models continue to offer multiple powertrain options, including the 1.2-litre turbo-petrol, 1.5-litre diesel, and all-electric setup. Both manual and automatic gearboxes remain available, catering to diverse driving preferences.

Established Features and Safety Credentials

While adding new luxury elements, Tata has retained all the popular features that made the Curvv successful. The interior continues to feature a 12.3-inch touchscreen by Harman, a nine-speaker JBL audio system, and a large panoramic sunroof with voice control functionality.

Ambient lighting, a powered tailgate, and a spacious 500-litre boot capacity remain part of the package. Most importantly, the Curvv maintains its strong safety credentials with Level 2 ADAS and a 5-star Bharat NCAP rating, providing customers with peace of mind alongside luxury.

These strategic upgrades strengthen Tata Motors' position in the rapidly evolving mid-size SUV space, offering Indian consumers more premium features at competitive price points. The focus on rear-seat comfort particularly addresses the needs of family-oriented buyers who prioritize passenger comfort.
