Since April 1, 2017, a total of 16,722 factories have been registered across Uttar Pradesh, leading to the creation of employment opportunities for over 15 lakh workers. Progress on the Defence Corridor and Key Investments

Minister Nandi also highlighted the advancements in the Uttar Pradesh Defence Corridor, a flagship initiative aimed at boosting the defence manufacturing sector. He announced that 6 nodes are currently under development, with a strategic distribution:
