LDA Launches Three Housing Schemes in Lucknow This Month

The Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) is set to launch three major residential schemes this month, aiming to meet the growing demand for housing and support planned urban expansion in the state capital. The schemes are Naimish Nagar in Bakshi Ka Talab, Varun Vihar on Mohan Road near the Agra Expressway, and Wellness City on Sultanpur Road.

Preparations in Final Stages

According to LDA officials, preparations for registration, lottery, and allotment are in the final stages. Officials have been assigned to oversee the process, and detailed modalities for launching the schemes are being worked out. The authority estimates that once fully developed, the three projects will provide housing opportunities to more than six lakh people.

First Phase Details

The first phase is expected to begin with registration for around 2,100 residential plots in the Kailash and Kashi blocks of the Naimish Nagar scheme. This project will include a network of roads measuring 60 metres, 45 metres, and 24 metres in width, ensuring smooth connectivity and infrastructure development.

Lottery System for Allotment

Plot allotments in all three schemes will be conducted through a transparent lottery system, ensuring fairness and equal opportunity for all applicants. The LDA has assured that all necessary steps are being taken to streamline the process and avoid any delays.

These initiatives are part of the LDA's broader strategy to address the housing shortage in Lucknow and promote sustainable urban growth. With the launch of these schemes, the authority aims to cater to diverse income groups and provide affordable housing options in well-planned localities.
