Signature Global and RMZ Forge Major Joint Venture for Gurugram's Largest Mixed-Use Development
In a landmark move for the Delhi-NCR real estate landscape, Signature Global (India) Ltd. has announced a strategic partnership with commercial real estate giant RMZ Corporation. The collaboration centers on a massive 3.94 million square foot mixed-use project situated along Gurugram's rapidly developing Southern Peripheral Road (SPR). This 50:50 joint venture represents a significant diversification for Signature Global, traditionally known for its residential projects, into the commercial real estate sector.
The Financial and Structural Framework of the Deal
The partnership is structured through Signature Global's wholly-owned subsidiary, Gurugram Commercity Limited (GCL). A Securities Subscription and Purchase Agreement (SSPA) has been executed with RMZ's Millennia Realtors Private Limited. Under this agreement, RMZ will acquire a 50% equity stake in the venture through a combination of share purchases and subscriptions, with a total investment commitment of up to ₹1,283 crore.
This capital infusion is pivotal for the project, which boasts an estimated total capital value ranging between ₹14,000 crore and ₹16,000 crore upon completion.
