YEIDA Announces Major Residential Plot Scheme Near Noida Airport
The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority has made an exciting announcement. They will launch a new residential plot scheme in January. This scheme is strategically located near the upcoming Noida International Airport.
Plot Details and Distribution
YEIDA plans to offer a total of 973 residential plots across three sectors. These sectors are 15C, 18, and 24A. All these locations enjoy proximity to the new airport, which is expected to become operational soon.
The plots come in six different size categories. Here is the detailed breakdown:
- 476 plots measuring 162 square meters
- 4 plots measuring 183 square meters
- 4 plots measuring 184 square meters
- 481 plots measuring 200 square meters
- 6 plots measuring 223 square meters
- 2 plots measuring 290 square meters
Reservation Policy for Special Categories
The Authority has implemented a reservation system for this scheme. They have allocated specific percentages for different groups.
Farmers whose land was acquired for development projects will receive 17.5% of the plots. Industrialists with functional units in the Yamuna City area get 5% reservation. The remaining 77.5% of plots are available for the general public.
This reservation policy specifically includes farmers and industrialists who already own industrial plots in Yamuna City. To qualify, their industrial units must be operational.
Registration Process and Timeline
RK Singh, the CEO of YEIDA, provided important details about the launch process. The Authority is currently securing registration from the Uttar Pradesh real estate regulatory authority. This step is mandatory before launching any housing scheme in the state.
Prospective applicants need to follow a specific process. They must deposit 10 percent of the plot cost as registration money. This deposit allows them to participate in the lucky draw that will determine successful allottees.
YEIDA will open a one-month window for registrations. After this period closes, the Authority will issue allotment letters. Successful applicants will then receive possession of their plots.
