Navrachana Innovation Foundation Hosts NUVenture '26 Startup Fest in Vadodara
Navrachana Innovation Foundation held its flagship innovation and entrepreneurship fest, NUVenture '26, on Monday at Navrachana University in Vadodara. The event celebrated National Startup Day under the Startup India initiative. It reinforced Gujarat's growing startup momentum.
Startups Pitch to Investors at Venture Vault Session
The event brought together startups, investors, mentors, and students. More than 50 startups from across Gujarat applied for participation. Organizers shortlisted 10 revenue-generating firms to pitch at Venture Vault. This was a closed-door investor session.
Founders presented their business models and growth plans before a six-member jury. The presentations triggered discussions on funding, scalability, and strategy. The investor panel featured representatives from GVFL, Kovin Tech, Syncoro Ventures, Epic Ventures, and House of Starts.
Academic Platforms Nurture Student-Led Innovation
Dr. Sachin Parikh, joint director of the directorate of technical education in Gujarat, served as chief guest. He underlined the role of academic platforms in nurturing student-led innovation. Dr. Sandeep Vasant, director of Navrachana Innovation Foundation, also spoke at the event.
Vasant said the ecosystem must prioritize sustainable businesses over flashy launches. He stressed job creation and real-world impact. The foundation signed a memorandum of understanding with House of Starts during the fest.
New AI-Focused D2C Cohort Launches for Founders
The MoU will launch an AI-focused direct-to-consumer cohort for founders across Gujarat. Knowledge sessions at the event drew over 150 participants. The Startup Expo attracted more than 1,000 visitors.
Early-stage startups received direct market feedback and investor visibility at the expo. The event focused on execution-ready ventures. It highlighted the collaborative efforts driving Gujarat's startup ecosystem forward.
