Sensex Up 271 Points, Nifty Holds 24,000 Before Fed Decision

Global Cues

Asian markets traded higher, with Japan's Nikkei 225 gaining 0.6% and China's Shanghai Composite rising 0.3%. US markets ended in the green on Tuesday, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average rising 0.4% and the S&P 500 adding 0.5%.

Fed Decision in Focus

All eyes are on the US Federal Reserve's interest rate decision, which is due later today. The Fed is widely expected to hold rates steady, but investors will closely watch the commentary for cues on future rate cuts. A dovish stance could boost risk appetite in emerging markets like India.

Technical Outlook

Analysts said the Nifty is likely to find support at the 23,800 level, while resistance is placed at 24,200. A breakout above 24,200 could trigger further upside, while a fall below 23,800 may lead to profit booking.

Overall, market sentiment is cautiously optimistic as investors await the Fed decision. Any positive surprise could lead to a sharp rally, while a hawkish stance may trigger a sell-off.
