Ranchi to Host Major International Trade Fair from March 26 to April 6

The Federation of Jharkhand Chamber of Commerce and Industries (FJCCI) has officially announced the organization of the annual India International Mega Trade Fair at the Morabadi Ground in Ranchi. The prestigious event is scheduled to take place from March 26 to April 6, marking a significant occasion for regional and international commerce.

Extensive International and Domestic Participation

FJCCI president Aditya Malhotra revealed that the fair will witness participation from 12 nations, including Turkiye, Afghanistan, the United Arab Emirates, Canada, and Bangladesh. Additionally, 18 states from India will be represented, showcasing the diverse economic landscape of the country.

Approximately 35,000 products will be displayed across 500 stalls, with the Jharkhand government setting up dedicated pavilions to highlight local industries and initiatives.

High-Profile Inauguration and Focus on MSMEs

The event has invited dignitaries such as Governor Santosh Gangwar and Chief Minister Hemant Soren, along with embassies from various participating countries, to grace the inauguration ceremony.

Malhotra emphasized that the 11th edition of the fair will place a strong emphasis on the promotion of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). The primary objective is not merely to facilitate product sales but to ensure the sustained growth and development of MSME units across the region, he stated.

Platform for Local Entrepreneurs and Special Night Market

The trade fair aims to provide a robust platform for traders and entrepreneurs from Jharkhand to showcase their products to a global audience, fostering business opportunities and economic expansion.

In a unique addition, a special night market will be organized every Saturday throughout the event, as confirmed by an official statement released by the FJCCI. This initiative is expected to enhance visitor engagement and create a vibrant atmosphere for networking and commerce.
