The Andhra Pradesh government officially released the notification for the Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET) June 2026 on Friday, paving the way for aspiring teachers and in-service educators to apply for the eligibility examination. The notification, along with the information bulletin, syllabus, examination schedule, and other instructions, has been made available online through the official APTET portal.
Key Dates for APTET June 2026
According to the schedule released by the authorities, candidates can submit their applications and pay the examination fees from June 5 to July 5. An online mock test facility will be made available starting July 15, allowing candidates to familiarize themselves with the computer-based test format. Hall tickets can be downloaded from July 25 onwards.
The computer-based examination will be conducted from August 5 to August 21 in two sessions each day. After the examination, the preliminary answer key will be released on August 24. Candidates can submit objections to the preliminary key between August 25 and August 31. The final answer key will be published on September 8, and the results are scheduled to be declared on September 15.
Minister's Statement on APTET and Teacher Recruitment
School Education Minister Nara Lokesh stated that the APTET-2026 notification has been issued to strengthen school education and ensure quality teaching standards across the state. He encouraged aspiring teachers to make use of this opportunity and prepare thoroughly for the examination. The minister also announced that, as part of the state government’s Job Calendar, the DSC-2026 notification for the recruitment of teachers in government schools will be issued in October 2026.
