Berhampur Student Achieves Perfect Score in CBSE Class X Examination
In a remarkable academic feat, Shibashis Behera, a student of PM Shree Kendriya Vidyalaya in Berhampur, has secured cent per cent marks in the CBSE Class X examination. The results, announced on Wednesday, were celebrated by the school on Friday, highlighting his outstanding performance.
Exceptional Academic Performance
According to school principal Shivapriya Dash, Shibashis scored a perfect 500 out of 500 in the best of five subjects. He achieved full marks in English, Sanskrit, science, social science, and artificial intelligence as an additional subject. In mathematics, he secured an impressive 94 out of 100 marks.
Shibashis expressed surprise at his achievement, stating, "I expected a good result but did not expect to secure 100%." He credited his success to the unwavering support of his parents and teachers, acknowledging their constant guidance throughout his studies.
Background and Future Aspirations
Shibashis is the son of Sandharani Behera, a school teacher, and Binod Kumar Behera, a railway employee. Driven by a passion for medicine, he aspires to become a doctor. His mother revealed that he is currently preparing for the NEET examination and is enrolled in coaching at a private institute to pursue this goal.
School's Overall Success
The school principal also shared details about the institution's overall performance in the CBSE Class X exam. Out of 180 students, 179 passed, demonstrating a high success rate. The results included:
- Four students scoring over 98%
- Fourteen students achieving over 95%
- Thirty-three students securing between 90% and 95%
Dash attributed this success to the dedication of teachers, the sincerity and hard work of students, and the proper guidance from parents. The school's achievement underscores its commitment to academic excellence and holistic development.
