CBSE Makes Review Marksheets Accessible Through Regional Offices and DigiLocker

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced that review marksheets are now available at its regional offices across the country. This move aims to streamline the process for students who have applied for a re-evaluation of their exam papers and need the revised documents promptly.

According to a CBSE official, the revised marksheets will also be uploaded to DigiLocker, the government's digital document storage platform. Students who require the updated marksheets urgently for college admissions can access them directly through DigiLocker, eliminating the need to visit regional offices in person.

Procedure for Obtaining Revised Marksheets

The board has specified that students must submit their old marksheets when collecting the revised versions. This requirement ensures that the previous documents are invalidated and prevents any misuse. The exchange can be done either at the regional office or, for those using DigiLocker, by uploading the old marksheet as part of the verification process.

CBSE has urged students to check the status of their re-evaluation requests on the official website before proceeding. The board has also set up a helpline to address any queries related to the marksheet distribution process.

Impact on Students and Admissions

This initiative is particularly beneficial for students who have secured improved scores after re-evaluation. With college admission deadlines approaching, the availability of revised marksheets through DigiLocker ensures that students can submit their updated documents without delay. The board has emphasized that the digital version holds the same validity as the physical copy.

In a statement, a CBSE representative said, "We understand the urgency for students needing revised marksheets for admissions. By making them available both at regional offices and on DigiLocker, we aim to provide flexibility and convenience."
