CM Yadav Orders Foolproof NEET-UG Retest Arrangements

Bhopal: With the NEET-UG retest scheduled for June 21, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav on Tuesday directed officials to ensure foolproof arrangements, emphasizing transparency, tight management, and administrative efficiency in conducting the examination across Madhya Pradesh.

Exam Details and Centres

The exam will be held at 283 centres across 30 districts, with a duration of three hours and 15 minutes. Candidates will receive an additional 15 minutes this year. NEET-UG was originally held on May 3 but was cancelled amid allegations of a paper leak.

Preparedness and Directives

Reviewing preparedness with district officials, Yadav stated that all arrangements must be completed well in advance, and every official involved must work with full alertness and accountability. He directed the higher education department to ensure that biometric machines, CCTV cameras, and jammers are installed at all examination centres by June 19, with a trial run conducted on June 20.

Since NEET will be conducted at 24 centres in Jabalpur, administrative and police officers should ensure traffic management so that all candidates can reach their examination centres smoothly and without any obstruction.
