The Haryana D.El.Ed. admission process for the 2026-28 academic session is currently underway, with the online registration and fee payment window closing today, May 11, 2026. The Diploma in Education (D.El.Ed.) course is open to candidates from Haryana as well as other states, through the centralized online admission process conducted by the State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) Haryana, Gurugram.
Application Process and Important Dates
Candidates can complete their application by visiting the official website dedharyana.org or the SCERT Haryana council website. Authorities have specified that applicants must select at least five institutions while submitting the application form. The registration fee is non-refundable under any circumstances.
The registration fee is set at Rs 500 for General category candidates and Rs 275 for candidates belonging to SC, BC, EWS, and differently abled categories. Payments can be made using debit cards, credit cards, and net banking for Axis Bank account holders. A service charge of 1.75 percent will be applied to card transactions, while net banking transactions will not incur any additional charges.
Counselling Schedule and Seat Allotment
The first round admission list is scheduled to be released on May 13, 2026, at 3:00 PM. Candidates will be able to download their provisional admit letters from May 13 to May 14. Those who are allotted seats must report to their respective colleges between May 15 and May 16 for confirmation of admission.
Eligibility Criteria for Candidates
Applicants seeking admission to the D.El.Ed. program must have secured at least 50 percent marks in the Senior Secondary examination (with five subjects, including English) from the Board of School Education Haryana or an equivalent board. Candidates belonging to SC, BC, and differently abled categories are eligible for a relaxation of five percent marks. Additionally, applicants must have studied Hindi or Sanskrit at the matriculation level.
For D.El.Ed. Urdu admissions, candidates must have passed Urdu in Class 10 from a recognized board equivalent to the Haryana board. Authorities have clarified that all candidates must fulfill the eligibility conditions by the last date of counselling.
Fee Structure and Academic Session
The annual fee for self-financed institutions in Haryana has been fixed at Rs 25,800, excluding examination charges. Regular first-year classes for the 2026-28 session are scheduled to commence from July 1, 2026.
