The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) has officially announced the results for the Class 12 Intermediate examinations for the year 2026. The overall pass percentage across all streams stands at an impressive 96.14 percent. Students who appeared for the examinations can now access their individual results on the official website of the council.
Overall Performance Highlights
Rashida Naaz from Dhanbad has secured the top position in the state by scoring 489 marks in the Arts stream. She has also emerged as the overall topper across all streams. Female students have outperformed their male counterparts, with the average pass percentage for girls recorded at 91.7 percent, compared to 90.0 percent for boys across the three streams.
Stream-Wise Pass Percentages
Among the three streams, the Arts stream has recorded the highest pass percentage at 96.14 percent, making it the top-performing stream this year. The Commerce stream follows with a pass percentage of 93.37 percent. The Science stream has recorded the lowest pass percentage at 82.92 percent.
District-Wise Performance
Analysis of district-level data reveals that smaller districts have topped the charts, while some others lag behind. Gumla district has achieved the highest pass percentage at 99.52 percent, closely followed by Khunti district at 99.46 percent and Simdega district at 99.36 percent. These three districts are the top performers this year. In the Arts stream, the overall pass percentage across districts is 96.14 percent. For Commerce, Simdega district leads with the highest pass percentage. In Science, which has the lowest overall pass percentage of 82.92 percent, Latehar district has performed the best.
