The Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) has officially announced the results for the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test (JNVST) Class 6 Phase 2 for the academic year 2026. The results were released on May 22, 2026, and are now accessible to all candidates who appeared for the entrance examination. Students can view and download their admission results through the official NVS portals, namely navodaya.gov.in and cbseitms.nic.in. To access the result, candidates need to enter their roll number and date of birth in the designated login window. The JNVST Class 6 admission test for 2026 was conducted in two phases across the country, with over 20 lakh students appearing for the examination this year. The Phase 1 examination was held on December 13, 2025, while the Phase 2 examination took place on April 11, 2026, in offline mode. The Phase 1 results were previously announced on March 17, 2026.

Selected students will additionally receive confirmation through SMS and speed post from the principal of the concerned school.
Selection List and Admission Details
NVS has released region-wise selection list PDFs containing the names and roll numbers of shortlisted candidates. Students can download the merit list from the official website and search for their details in the document. The result includes details such as the student's name, roll number, parents' names, district name, school code, marks obtained, and qualifying status. Admissions will be completed according to the prescribed reservation policy, which includes seats reserved for rural students, girls, OBC, SC, ST, and Divyang candidates under Government of India norms.
