The Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE), Bhopal, has officially announced the results for the Class 10 Second Examination 2026. This examination replaced the traditional supplementary exam system and was conducted for both regular and private candidates.
Overall Performance of Regular Candidates
According to the official data, a total of 1,44,787 regular candidates appeared for the High School Second Examination 2026. Among them, 58,608 students successfully passed, resulting in an overall pass percentage of 40.47%.
Gender-Wise Breakdown
Among regular candidates, 82,613 boys and 62,174 girls took the exam. The pass percentage for boys was 37.40%, with 30,898 qualifying. Girls outperformed boys, achieving a pass percentage of 44.56%, as 27,710 out of 62,174 female candidates passed.
The board reported that 86,176 regular candidates failed, while three results were withheld and one candidate remained absent.
Division-Wise Performance
In terms of divisions, 13,344 regular candidates secured first division, comprising 6,400 boys and 6,944 girls. A total of 44,584 candidates achieved second division, while 680 students passed in third division. No candidate was placed in the pass division category.
Private Candidates' Results
The board also released results for private candidates. A total of 33,130 private candidates appeared, including 19,289 boys and 13,841 girls. Overall, 9,590 candidates passed, yielding a pass percentage of 28.94%.
Among private candidates, boys recorded a pass percentage of 27.06%, while girls achieved 31.56%. A total of 23,540 private candidates were declared failed.
Division-Wise Performance of Private Candidates
Among private candidates, 128 secured first division (69 boys and 59 girls). Additionally, 3,455 students obtained second division, and 6,007 candidates passed in third division.
