Revised Exam Timing
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has revised the exam duration. The re-examination will be conducted from 2:00 PM to 5:15 PM, providing students an extra 15 minutes for attendance marking and other formalities.
Fee Waiver and Refund
In a major relief for candidates, the government announced that students will not have to pay any additional fee for the re-test. Furthermore, the examination fees already paid for the cancelled NEET UG 2026 exam will be refunded.

The original NEET UG 2026 examination was conducted on May 3 but was later scrapped after allegations of a paper leak and circulation of leaked PDFs, which triggered nationwide outrage among students and parents.
Additional Opportunities for Candidates
Fresh admit cards for NEET UG 2026 will be released by June 14.
