RBI Assistant Prelims Result 2026 Announced
The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has officially declared the result for the RBI Assistant preliminary examination 2026. The exam was conducted on April 11, 13, and 30. Candidates who appeared for the recruitment test can now access the result PDF on the official RBI website at rbi.org.in. They can check their qualifying status by searching for their roll numbers in the released list.
The result, published on May 25, contains the roll numbers of candidates who have been provisionally shortlisted for the next stage of the selection process. This preliminary examination was part of the recruitment drive for the post of Assistant under Panel Year 2025. Those who have qualified will now appear for the online mains examination, which is scheduled for June 7.
Mains Examination Details
The RBI has confirmed that the online mains examination will be conducted exclusively for candidates shortlisted based on their performance in the prelims. Separate call letters for the mains exam will be made available on the RBI website shortly. These call letters will include important details such as examination timing and venue.
Additionally, the central bank has stated that the information handout and instructions for candidates who require a scribe, compensatory time, or other assistance due to physical limitations will be uploaded on the official portal.
How to Download the Result PDF
The RBI Assistant Result 2026 has been released in PDF format. Candidates should download the document and use the search function (Ctrl+F) to locate their roll numbers in the list of shortlisted candidates. The PDF contains details including roll numbers, category information, marks, and qualification status.
To access the result, candidates can visit the RBI opportunities portal, navigate to the result section, and open the link related to the preliminary examination for Assistant recruitment. After opening the PDF, they can search for their roll number using the Ctrl+F option.
Further Stages in the Recruitment Process
Candidates who qualify in the mains examination will proceed to the Language Proficiency Test, which is the final stage of the selection process. The RBI has also announced that category-wise and region-wise cut-offs, along with individual marksheets, will be released separately in an interactive format on the official website.
The bank further clarified that RTI queries regarding category-wise cut-offs, total shortlisted candidates, and examination-related data will be entertained only after the completion of the entire recruitment process and the declaration of final results.
