An investigation is underway, and the police are reviewing CCTV footage from the area to identify the suspects. The victim has been advised to undergo a medical examination to document his injuries.
This incident highlights the persistent issue of regional discrimination in urban areas, where people from certain states often face taunts and harassment based on their language or accent. Rights activists have condemned the attack and called for stricter action against such hate crimes.
