Patna: St Karen's High School recently held a ceremony to honor the top performers of the Class X and XII CBSE 2026 board examinations on its campus. The event recognized the hard work and dedication of the students, with several achieving outstanding scores.
Class X Toppers
In Class X, Priyanshu secured the first position with an impressive 98.4%. He was followed by Prabha Jha, who achieved 98.2%, and Anurag Bharati, who scored 97.8%. These students were celebrated for their academic excellence and commitment to their studies.
Class XII Toppers
For Class XII, Nandini topped the humanities stream with a score of 96.8%. In the PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) stream, Shivangi Gupta also achieved 96.8%, sharing the top spot. Anushka Kumari secured the highest position in the commerce stream with 94.6%, while Aditya Raj topped the PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) stream with 91.4%.
Ceremony Highlights
The event was attended by several dignitaries, including founders DP Galstaun and Leslie Galstaun, director Edward Galstaun, joint director Sharon Galstaun, head of academic and strategy Shefali Srivastava, and principal Seema Singh. The toppers were awarded certificates and mementos in recognition of their achievements.
Nandini, one of the top scorers, expressed her gratitude towards the school and teachers for their unwavering support. She credited the institution for shaping her personality and inspiring her to strive for excellence, referring to the school's motto, 'Labour Reaps Reward'.
Lecture on Intellectual Property Rights
In other news, BD College's startup cell organized a lecture on 'From Idea to Ownership: Importance of IPR' at the MCA conference hall as part of its legal and compliance clinics initiative. Principal Ratna Amrit explained the connection between ideas, intellectual property rights, and ownership, citing disputes over Madhubani painting, turmeric, and neem. Keynote speaker Nidhi Kumari emphasized the role of patents, copyrights, and trademarks in protecting innovation.
Workshop on Therapeutic Interventions
Additionally, the Comprehensive Regional Centre for Skill Development, Rehabilitation and Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, Patna, in collaboration with IQAC, conducted a two-day program at Magadh Mahila College (MMC) focusing on therapeutic interventions for neurodevelopmental disorders. Over 150 participants, including teachers, psychologists, and rehabilitation professionals, attended the event. Kumar Bharat Bhushan (CRC) and Nidhi Singh, clinical psychologist and assistant professor at Magadh Mahila College, coordinated the program, which covered multidisciplinary interventions, inclusive education, neurorehabilitation, and assessment guidelines.
