UGC NET June 2026 Subject Schedule Released by NTA

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the subject-wise schedule for the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) June 2026 session. According to the notification, the examination will be conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode from June 22 to June 30, 2026.

Exam Timings and Shifts

The UGC NET June 2026 will be held in two shifts daily. Shift 1 runs from 9:00 AM to 12:00 noon, while Shift 2 is scheduled from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Candidates are advised to check their subject-specific exam dates and stay updated on city intimation slips and admit cards.

City Intimation Slip and Admit Card

The exam city intimation slip will be released approximately eight to ten days before the examination. For instance, candidates appearing on June 22 can expect their city allotment details between June 12 and June 14. Admit cards will be issued separately prior to the exam. Candidates must verify their exam city, subject code, reporting time, and shift details after downloading the admit card.

  • June 23, 2026 - Shift 1: Public Administration, Education, Social Work, Malayalam, Urdu, Criminology, Performing Art, Tribal and Regional Language, Folk Literature.
