The National Commission for Scheduled Tribes (NCST) has commenced the online registration process for its Internship Programme 2026. About the NCST Internship Programme

Under this internship programme, approximately 10 candidates will be selected per intake. Selected interns will be posted either at the NCST Headquarters or its Regional Offices, depending on administrative requirements and seat availability. Interns who successfully complete the programme and maintain at least 90% attendance will receive a stipend of Rs 15,000 at the end of the one-month internship period.

Who Can Apply?

Candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria:

  • They should have secured at least 60% marks or an equivalent grade in their previous qualifying examination.
  • Students studying in the second year of graduation are eligible to apply.
  • Candidates who have already completed their graduation can also apply.
  • The commission may relax eligibility conditions in exceptional cases.
