The Tripura Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board (TBOCWWB), under the Labour Department of Tripura, has introduced the ‘Scheme for Loan and Advances to the Beneficiary for Construction of House’. This initiative provides financial assistance to registered construction workers in Tripura, enabling them to construct their own homes.
Loan Details and Benefits
Eligible workers can avail loans of up to Rs 6 lakh, which includes a 6.5% credit-linked interest subsidy. The loan can be repaid over a maximum period of 20 years. This scheme aims to support economically challenged construction workers in achieving home ownership.
