The Kerala Board of Public Examinations (KBPE) has officially announced the Kerala SSLC (Secondary School Leaving Certificate) 10th result for the academic year 2025-2026. The results were declared on May 15, 2026, at 10:00 AM. Students who appeared for the examination can now check their results online through the official website keralaresults.nic.in.

Kerala SSLC Pass Percentage 2026

This year, the overall pass percentage has shown a slight improvement compared to the previous year. The pass percentage stands at 99.32%, which is an increase of 0.15% from last year's 99.17%. A total of 4,27,000 students appeared for the examination, out of which 4,24,000 students have successfully passed. The number of students who secured A+ grades has also increased significantly.

Subject-wise Performance

The highest pass percentage was recorded in Malayalam language with 99.87%, followed by Mathematics with 99.45% and Science with 99.22%. English and Social Science also performed well with pass percentages of 98.95% and 98.78% respectively. The improvement in Mathematics is particularly notable, with more students scoring top grades.

Gender-wise Analysis

Girls have outperformed boys once again this year. The pass percentage for girls is 99.65%, while for boys it is 98.97%. The number of girls securing A+ grades is also higher compared to boys. This trend has been consistent over the past few years, highlighting the academic excellence of female students in the state.

District-wise Performance

Among the districts, Pathanamthitta has recorded the highest pass percentage with 99.82%, followed by Kottayam with 99.74% and Ernakulam with 99.61%. The districts in the northern region have also shown improvement, with Kannur and Kasaragod recording pass percentages of 99.12% and 98.95% respectively. The state government has congratulated all students for their hard work and dedication.

Supplementary Examination

Students who did not pass the examination need not worry. The Kerala Board will conduct a supplementary examination for those who failed in one or two subjects. The supplementary exams are expected to be held in June 2026. Students can apply for the supplementary exams through their respective schools.
