  2. On the homepage, locate and click on the link for "Admit Card for UGC-NET December 2025".
  3. You will be redirected to a login page. Enter your required Application Number, Date of Birth, and the security Captcha code.
  4. Click on the 'Submit' button.
  5. Your UGC NET 2025 admit card will be displayed on the screen.
  6. Download the PDF file and save it on your device. Take a clear printout to carry to the exam centre. It is advised to preserve the hall ticket even after the exam for future reference.

Exam Schedule and Key Instructions

The UGC NET December 2025 examination will be conducted over multiple days, from December 31, 2025, to January 7, 2026. To accommodate the large number of aspirants, the NTA will hold the exam in two shifts daily.

The first shift will run from 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon. Candidates assigned to the second shift will appear from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. It is crucial to note the reporting time specified on your individual admit card. Latecomers will not be permitted entry as the exam centre gates will close strictly on time.

The examination will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. The pattern consists of a single paper divided into two sections, both containing objective-type multiple-choice questions (MCQs). There is no break between the two sections.

The test duration is three hours, with 150 questions carrying a total of 300 marks. While most questions will be in English, language-specific papers will have questions in the respective language.
