Dress Code for Male Candidates
Male candidates should wear light-coloured shirts or T-shirts with trousers or pyjamas. Kurta-pyjama is also acceptable. They must avoid wearing dark-coloured or heavily embroidered clothes. Jackets, blazers, coats, and sweaters are not allowed. Candidates should not wear any headgear, except for religious reasons, which will be checked thoroughly.
Dress Code for Female Candidates
Female candidates can wear light-coloured salwar-kameez, kurta-pyjama, or saree. Western attire such as light-coloured tops and trousers is also permitted. They should avoid wearing heavy jewellery, scarves, stoles, or dupattas that can conceal items. Hairpins and clips are allowed, but candidates may be asked to remove them if suspected. Headscarves or hijabs are permitted for religious reasons but will be inspected.
