BHU's Rajiv Gandhi South Campus to Host Transformative AI and Skills Programs
The prestigious Banaras Hindu University (BHU) is set to launch a significant educational initiative at its Rajiv Gandhi South Campus (RGSC) in Barkachha, Mirzapur. Over two days, April 6 and 7, the campus will host a series of three comprehensive academic and skill-oriented programs. These events are strategically designed to promote advanced artificial intelligence (AI) learning and essential life-saving skills among both students and professionals.
Day One: AI Workshop for Higher Education Enhancement
On Saturday, April 6, the first event will take place at the New Lecture Theatre within RGSC. This one-day hands-on workshop is titled "AI as a Transformative Force in Higher Education: Enhancing Teaching and Research Quality." According to program convener Ratna Shanker Mishra, the workshop is being organized by the DDU Kaushal Kendra under the Faculty of Arts.
The primary focus of this workshop will be the practical integration of AI into contemporary teaching methodologies. Key objectives include:
