An upcoming conclave in Pune is set to lay a comprehensive focus on charting a detailed roadmap for future skills, Industry 5.0, employability, and CSR-led skilling initiatives. The event, titled 'FUEL Annual Conclave and Future Skills Summit 2026', will be held at the Friends Union for Energising Lives (FUEL) campus in the city on February 6.

Key Objectives and Announcements

The conclave is expected to outline critical takeaways on the essential skills Indian youth will require for emerging industries, stronger industry–academia alignment, and scalable CSR partnerships. A major announcement regarding FUEL's milestone under India's Social Stock Exchange (SSE) framework will also be highlighted, as stated by FUEL chairman and founder Ketan Deshpande.

Deshpande emphasized that the event will bring together policymakers, government leaders, and industry representatives to deliberate on strategies for preparing a future-ready workforce in India. "The conclave brings policy, industry, and education together to collectively prepare India's youth for the future. The SSE milestone reinforces our commitment to transparency, measurable outcomes, and large-scale social impact," he said.

Distinguished Guests and Agenda

Kerala Governor Rajendra Arlekar will attend as the chief guest, while Maharashtra higher and technical education minister Chandrakant Patil will serve as the guest of honour. The conclave will commence with an inaugural session and keynote addresses focusing on the future of education, leadership preparedness, and government–industry collaboration.

Focused discussions will cover a range of pivotal topics, including:

  • Future skills required for evolving job markets
  • Industry 5.0 and its implications for workforce development
  • Human-centric education models to enhance learning outcomes
  • Employability pathways tailored for youth
  • CSR-led skilling initiatives to bridge skill gaps

Recognition and Impact

The event will conclude with a Recognition of Excellence ceremony, honouring individuals and institutions that have made significant contributions to education, skills development, CSR, and youth empowerment. Additionally, FUEL will announce a milestone under the Social Stock Exchange framework, aimed at strengthening transparency, accountability, and impact measurement. This initiative is designed to enable structured CSR and philanthropic participation to scale education and skilling programmes for women, first-generation learners, and underserved youth.

The summit is anticipated to strengthen collaboration among government, industry, academia, and civil society, shaping a practical action agenda for building a skilled, inclusive, and future-ready workforce. This collaborative effort is crucial for addressing the dynamic demands of the global economy and ensuring sustainable growth in India's labor market.
