In response to the sudden requisitions, University of Calcutta officials have personally visited the affected colleges to conduct on-ground assessments of the available infrastructure. The primary objective of these visits is to examine the feasibility of conducting crucial first-semester examinations amidst the ongoing poll-related occupation of campus facilities. "We are in the process of assessing the matter thoroughly and will take a final decision only after speaking directly with the principals of the concerned colleges," stated Asutosh Ghosh, the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Calcutta.
