Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must be between 18 and 28 years of age as of June 30, 2026. Age relaxation is applicable for SC, ST, OBC (NCL), PwBD, Ex-Servicemen, and other eligible categories as per government norms. Candidates must have passed Class 10 with at least 55% marks along with an ITI certification in the relevant trade. Alternatively, candidates with apprentice training or three years of relevant trade experience are also eligible.
Selection Process and Examination Scheme
The selection process includes scrutiny of applications, a trade test (qualifying in nature), a written examination, and document verification. The written exam comprises three papers:
- Paper-I: Mental Ability Test – 50 questions for 100 marks, duration 1 hour.
- Paper-II: General Awareness and English Language – 25 questions each for 75 marks per section, 30 minutes per section.
- Paper-III: Concerned Technical Subject – 50 questions for 150 marks, duration 1 hour.
