Governor R N Ravi Presents Honors at Periyar University's 24th Convocation
In a prestigious ceremony held in Salem, Governor R N Ravi presided over the 24th convocation of Periyar University, distributing gold medals and degree certificates to a total of 468 outstanding students. The event celebrated academic excellence across various levels of higher education.
Recognition for Doctoral and Postgraduate Achievements
Governor Ravi personally presented gold medals and degree certificates to 358 students who successfully completed their doctoral studies, highlighting the university's strong research focus. Additionally, 110 students who topped their postgraduate and undergraduate programs were honored for their academic prowess.
The convocation ceremony saw a significant gathering of scholars, faculty, and dignitaries, with C Anandharamakrishnan, director of CSIR-National Institute for Interdisciplinary Science and Technology in Thiruvananthapuram, serving as the chief guest.
