Tragedy Strikes Medical College Hostel

A promising young medical student's life ended tragically on Saturday when 19-year-old Gopesh Krishna was found dead in his hostel room at Subharti University in Meerut. The first-year MBBS student, who had recently enrolled at the institution, allegedly died by suicide.

Discovery of the Incident

The heartbreaking discovery was made when fellow students visited Gopesh's room in the afternoon for some work. After receiving no response from inside, they alerted the university authorities and police. Upon entering the room, police officers found Gopesh hanging from the ceiling.

The deceased has been identified as the son of Udal Singh, a police inspector currently posted in Muzaffarnagar. The young student had just begun his medical education journey at the university.

Police Investigation Underway

Law enforcement officials have taken the body into custody and sent it for post-mortem examination to determine the exact cause of death. Ashutosh Kumar, CO Sardhana, confirmed that the student's mobile phone and other personal belongings have been seized for detailed analysis.

Forensic teams have conducted a thorough inspection of the hostel room and collected samples for examination. The exact reason behind the extreme step remains unknown as investigators continue their probe into the circumstances leading to the tragedy.

Authorities have confirmed that no First Information Report (FIR) has been registered so far in connection with the case. The police are awaiting the post-mortem report and forensic analysis results to piece together the events that led to this unfortunate incident.
