Ayesha Curry Announces Broadway Debut with Stephen Curry

Stephen Curry's wife Ayesha Curry has announced a new venture with the Golden State Warriors star, as the couple steps into the world of Broadway. With the NBA season behind him, Curry is shifting his focus off the court, and this time, the spotlight belongs just as much to Ayesha.

Stephen Curry and Ayesha Curry Become Broadway Co-Producers

The Curry family has officially entered the theater scene as co-producers of The Lost Boys musical, a fresh take on the 1987 cult classic. Backed by their production company, Unanimous Media, the project reflects a growing interest in film and entertainment that has been quietly taking shape over the years.

Opening night at the Palace Theater in New York carried its own energy. For Ayesha Curry, it felt almost surreal. She shared that emotion in real time, posting a photo of the playbill with a simple but telling line: 'Pinch me! @lostboysmusical !!! Proud co-producers.' Her excitement only grew as the show came to life. In another post, she wrote, 'A time was had! The curtain is up and our eyes and ears are glued to the stage for @lostboysmusical at the beautiful Palace Theater! You can see it 10x and still feel something different. Have fun everyone, you're in for a treat.'

Expanding Presence in Media

Their latest venture extends the Currys' expanding presence in media. Earlier this year, their involvement in the animated film GOAT showed a similar creative push. Curry even lent his voice, blending his basketball identity with storytelling in a new way.

Curry's season, limited by injuries, saw him appear in only 39 games, though he still delivered 27.2 points per night when available. He pushed through setbacks to help the Warriors reach the play-in, even producing flashes of his best form before the campaign ended against the Phoenix Suns.

Now, the focus feels different. Less about recovery timelines and more about shared experiences. The Broadway debut offered a chance to step away from the grind and invest time in something personal, something collaborative.

For the Currys, this is not a side project. Recently, the power couple also attended the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, alongside Seth Curry, Callie Rivers, and Sydel Curry.
