The Times of India Sports Awards (TOISA) 2025 celebrated the remarkable achievements of Indian athletes across various disciplines, highlighting a year of exceptional performances and dedication. The awards ceremony, held recently, recognized both mainstream and para-sports stars, underscoring India's growing prowess on the global sports stage.
Female Athletes Lead the Charge with Stellar Wins
In the female categories, several standout performers were honored for their contributions. Antim Panghal secured the Wrestling of the Year award, cementing her status as a rising star in the sport. Mirabai Chanu was named Weightlifting of the Year, adding another accolade to her illustrious career. Other notable winners included:

- Deepti Sharma for Cricket of the Year
- Manika Batra for Table Tennis of the Year

Other para-sports winners included Kapil Parmar for Para Judo, Rudransh Khandelwal for Para Shooting of the Year in males, Shailesh Kumar for Para Athlete (Track & Field - male), and Simran Sharma for Para Athletics of the Year in females. Subhash Rana was honored as Para Coach of the Year, recognizing his pivotal role in nurturing talent.
