Adivi Sesh Praises Dhurandhar, Calls It India's Biggest Film
Adivi Sesh Lauds Dhurandhar's Portrayal of 26/11

Prominent actor Adivi Sesh, who is gearing up for his new film 'Dacoit', has recently shared his strong endorsement for the recently released action thriller 'Dhurandhar'. The film, directed by Aditya Dhar and starring Ranveer Singh, deals with the sensitive subject of the 2008 Mumbai terror attacks.

High Praise at the Dacoit Teaser Launch

During the media interaction at the teaser launch event of his upcoming action thriller 'Dacoit' in Mumbai, Adivi Sesh was asked about his views on 'Dhurandhar'. Given his deep connection to the subject through his own critically acclaimed film 'Major', based on the life of martyr Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, his opinion carried significant weight.

Sesh did not hold back his admiration. He revealed that he had already expressed his thoughts on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), praising the film extensively. He emphasized that despite his own exhaustive research on the 26/11 attacks and the Black Tornado operation for 'Major', watching 'Dhurandhar' offered him a completely new perspective.

An "Extraordinary" New Perspective

According to a report by IANS, Adivi Sesh stated, "I thought, I had done so much research on 26/11 and the entire black tornado operation. But to know the Pakistani side of things was a new experience even for me." He went on to label the film as "extraordinary" and firmly declared that it genuinely deserves to be recognized as India's biggest film at the moment.

He also expressed pride in seeing audiences flock to theatres to support the film, driven by strong word-of-mouth. Sesh highlighted the genuine public interest in 'Dhurandhar' and commended director Aditya Dhar for his "extraordinary value system." So impressed was he that he planned to watch the film again with his family.

Social Media Acclaim for Dhurandhar

Earlier, on Sunday, Adivi Sesh had taken to his X handle to share a detailed post lauding the film and its creators. He wrote about being "late to the party" but was thoroughly impressed by the scale and execution.

In his post, he appreciated the film's international presentation and its handling of complex gray areas with subtlety. He specifically mentioned that seeing the portrayal of how the ISI's handlers were empowered by the Lyari underworld was an entirely new and emotional experience for him, causing both heartbreak and anger.

While Sesh continues to promote his own upcoming project 'Dacoit', co-starring Mrunal Thakur, his unequivocal praise for a fellow filmmaker's work on a shared sensitive subject has garnered considerable attention in the entertainment circles.
