Anna Lezhneva Shares Emotional Tribute on Son's Birthday, Recalls Fire Ordeal
Anna Lezhneva, the wife of prominent actor and Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, recently posted a heartfelt message on social media that resonated deeply with her followers. The emotional update came as she celebrated the birthday of her son, Akira Nandan, while simultaneously marking what she called a "second birthday" for her younger son, Mark Shankar Pawanovich, who survived a terrifying fire accident last year.
A Proud Moment for Akira Nandan
In her detailed post, Anna expressed immense pride in Akira Nandan and the young man he is developing into. She wrote, "Today is an emotional day for our family. It's Akira's birthday. We are so proud of the man he's becoming. A deep thinker, a curious learner, and so kind." Her words painted a picture of a mother's joy and admiration for her child's growth and character.
Mark's 'Second Birthday' After Near-Fatal Fire
The celebration took on a dual significance as Anna highlighted the anniversary of the fire incident that nearly claimed Mark's life. She referred to this day as Mark's "second birthday," emphasizing the miraculous nature of his survival. The fire occurred at his school in Singapore, where Mark narrowly escaped death, an event that has left a lasting impact on the family.
Anna revealed that the investigation into the tragic accident is still ongoing, adding a layer of unresolved pain to the anniversary. "One year later, the investigation is still ongoing. We still don't know who is responsible for the loss of little Freya, who was only 10... and for the 18 children who were hospitalized," she stated. She noted that some children continue to require surgeries due to deep burns sustained in the blaze.
Recalling the Hospital Struggle and Gratitude
In her post, Anna vividly recalled the harrowing time spent at the hospital, watching her son fight for his life. "I still remember sitting by his hospital bed, watching him struggle to breathe. No mother should ever go through that," she shared. Despite the trauma, she expressed profound gratitude, saying, "By God's grace, Mark survived. His lungs were damaged, but today he is okay. He is here, and that is everything."
Details of the Singapore Fire Incident
The fire accident took place on April 8, 2025, in Singapore, resulting in injuries to Mark and other children. After receiving medical treatment, Mark was brought back to India to recover. The incident claimed the life of a 10-year-old girl named Freya and left multiple others with severe injuries, underscoring the gravity of the event.
Meanwhile, in related news, Pawan Kalyan, a celebrated figure in Indian cinema, was last seen in the film 'Ustaad Bhagat Singh', continuing his dual roles in politics and entertainment.
Anna Lezhneva's post serves as a poignant reminder of family resilience and the preciousness of life, blending personal celebration with a tribute to survival against all odds.
