Asha Bhosle passed away in Mumbai after being admitted to Breach Candy Hospital on Saturday. Her last rites are scheduled to be held at Shivaji Park on Monday at 4:00 pm. Prior to her passing, her granddaughter, Zanai Bhosle, had revealed that Asha Bhosle was hospitalized due to extreme exhaustion and a chest infection, requesting privacy for the family during this difficult time.
Zanai Bhosle stated, "My grandmother, Asha Bhosle due to extreme exhaustion and suffering a chest infection has been admitted to hospital and we request you to value our privacy. Treatment is ongoing and hopefully everything will be well and we shall update you positively."
