The couple recently opened up about their relationship journey on Rashmi Desai's podcast. Dipika shared intimate details of how their friendship blossomed into love. They first met on the sets of the popular TV show 'Sasural Simar Ka' and instantly connected as friends.
Dipika revealed that their real feelings began to develop after Shoaib exited the show. "We both began to miss each other, and everything naturally moved forward from there," she said. Interestingly, there was never a formal proposal. She poetically explained that when someone truly completes you, their absence makes you realize their importance. "That’s when you realise that this person is meant for you," she added.
After dating for nearly five years, Dipika Kakar and Shoaib Ibrahim tied the knot in a beautiful Nikah ceremony on February 22, 2018. The wedding took place in Shoaib's hometown, Maudaha, cementing their bond both personally and within his family.
