In 2016, DSP revealed to the media, as per English Tupaki website, "My father loves his native place Vedurupaka in East Godavari very much. It's because of that he built a huge house in Vedurupaka and named it after his parents Suryanarayana-Udaya Bhaskar as 'Suryodayam'." The residence is not merely a living space but also embodies DSP's artistic mindset, often described as filled with creative energy and artistic elements.

Ilaiyaraaja's Visit: A Dream Realized

A memorable and emotional highlight in DSP's career was the visit of legendary composer Ilaiyaraaja to his studio. DSP has a life-sized portrait of the maestro prominently displayed in his workspace, symbolizing his reverence and inspiration.

Sharing his heartfelt emotions, DSP wrote, "As a little kid, even before I knew what MUSIC was all about, MAESTRO ISAIGNANI ILAYARAJA SIR’s MUSIC cast a MAGICAL SPELL on me." He further expressed his lifelong dream, stating, "My biggest and lifetime dream was that Ilaiyaraaja Sir should visit my studio one day, and I should take a photo with him standing next to the picture of his."

He added, "And as the universe always conspires to make our most genuine desires and love come true. Finally, this dream of mine came true. It was one of the most emotional moments of my life. Thank You my dearest god of music Isaignani Ilaiyaraaja Sir. For bringing your divine presence to my studio and blessing me and my team."

On the professional front, DSP remains highly active with major film projects. He has composed music for 'Ustaad Bhagat Singh' starring Pawan Kalyan and recently worked on the film 'Kuberaa' featuring Dhanush.
