Jackie Shroff Confronts Paparazzi at Asha Bhosle's Funeral
Actor Jackie Shroff lost his temper as paparazzi bombarded him with questions while he arrived to pay his final respects to the iconic playback singer Asha Bhosle, who passed away at the age of 92. The incident occurred at Shivaji Park in Mumbai, where the actor was attending the final rites of the legendary figure.
Paparazzi's Insensitive Questions Spark Outrage
Paparazzi stationed at the location asked Shroff how he felt, prompting the actor to express his deep frustration. In a viral video, Jackie Shroff is seen schooling the paparazzi, questioning the appropriateness of such inquiries during a somber funeral. He asked in Marathi, "Kasha vatnar, konachi aai geli tar? Aamchi aai geli hai", which translates to "How would it feel if someone's mother passes away? Our mother is gone."
Shroff further elaborated, "Kasa vatel manje, tera bolne ka matlab hai, kaisa lagta hai maa kisi ki gayi to kaisa lagta hai", meaning "What do you mean by asking how it feels, how does it feel when someone loses their mother?" The paparazzi responded with "Bura hi lagta hai" or "It feels bad."
Shroff's Stern Reaction and Call for Respect
Reacting to the insensitive behavior, Jackie Shroff added, "Bas, khatam ho gaya baat. Hi time nahi re bolaycha, rahu de dada, ghari jaa." This translates to "That's it, the matter ends there. This is not the time to say such things, let it be, brother, go home." His words highlighted the need for respect and decorum during moments of grief.
